48.5 MW Generation

Scope

2-year Project Management contract for design, construction, and start-up of this Power Plant Project including planning and scheduling, procurement assistance, cost control, construction coordination, and administration.

Supply and installation of a General Electric 48.5 MW natural gas combustion turbine generator package, along with associated utilities/power transmission infrastructure to tie into the existing 69 kV power system.

Power Generation facility to operate as a simple-cycle “Peaker” plant; designed to start up and reach maximum capacity within 10 minutes, providing electricity to the grid promptly at times of peak demand. In-service date: October 2017.
